B.A.A.M (Buckers aware audience member)
Yes I'm a B.A.A.M.
So who is Buckers anyway? she is Miss Amanda Buckley(Impro), the name might not be familiar but the laugh will be. Have you ever been in an audience and heard a loud and unusual female laugh, well, you know Buckers. Really the laugh is not that unusual or strange it's just the timing, she usually laughs before or after everyone else laughs, so it's kinda out there on it's lonesome, which makes it stand out. The audiences immediate response is to laugh at the laugh. Poor Amanda unfortunately pays for her individualism by being told off or heckled. She got told off by Benita Collings(Play School), who was sitting nearby, for laughing too loud. She got heckled by Ardal O'Hanlon, who got startled by the laugh, poor Amanda she wasn't even on a stage and got heckled. When I first heard that laugh 2003 I though it was unusual but quickly became accustomed to it and now I'm a B.A.A.M, to me it's like a live laugh track.
Unfortunately that loud laugh must be rubbing off on me as I have developed 'Buckerettes Syndrome'(a loud laugh). It's weird when people turn around when you laugh, at least my timing is a little better. Don't love my laugh, don't love me, I'm still good. (Jan 2008)
